Columbus is organized globally in business lines; you will become a fully integrated part of the global management group, in a Business Line. Therefore, you will be leading the improvements from the front, as an active Business Finance Partner translating financial results into actions, and business understanding. You will be part of our international Business Finance team and report to our Head of Business Finance, Frederik Sukstorf.   

You will be based in our office in Ballerup, but occasional travel is expected to build and maintain strong stakeholder connections. 
 

Your Responsibility & Tasks 
As a Business Finance Partner, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure commercially sound and well-informed decision-making. Furthermore, you will: 

• Translate financial insights into clear, actionable business decisions 
• Present and communicate results and analyses to senior management 
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses 
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses 
• Support monthly closing and reporting by understanding the transactions ensuring correctness 

You will also continuously contribute to the further development of processes and routines. 

Your Qualifications & Experience   
The successful candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics and brings several years of experience as a Business Finance Partner or Financial Controller. Furthermore, you bring: 

• Stakeholder management experience and are great at building trustful relations within the business 
• A background in accounting and/or auditing, with strong financial understanding 
• A natural interest in systems, and are comfortable managing and analyzing large amounts of data 
• Curiosity to always learn and improve 
• Fluent oral and written proficiency in English - Danish is an advantage 

 
You bring a strong business mindset and thrive in a dynamic environment, allowing you to advise and challenge management as a trusted finance partner. You are curious, proactive in improving ways of working, and known for your meticulous and structured approach.
