We are looking for a visionary and results-oriented Director of Dynamics 365 Consulting to head our largest business line in Denmark. You will drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and long-term customer value with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
This is a unique opportunity to take on a high-impact leadership role, overseeing a team of 80+ full-time professionals and managing a strong portfolio of national and international enterprise customers.
The Role
As Director of Dynamics 365 Consulting, you will have full responsibility for Columbus Denmark's Dynamics 365 consulting business. You will lead business and technical consultants, solution architects, and team leads, delivering complex and high-value digital transformation projects to some of Denmark’s leading organizations.
You will report to VP, John Sinnbeck, and be part of the Danish leadership team acting as a strategic sparring partner for peers in sales, delivery, and product teams. Additionally, you will represent the consulting function in Nordic and global Columbus forums.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, where your focus will include:
- Setting direction and driving performance and growth across the business unit.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team through managers and team leads.
- Ensuring scalable and profitable project delivery with measurable customer outcomes.
- Driving excellence in onboarding, solution delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Strengthening Columbus’ position as a trusted partner to enterprise organizations
- Shaping and forming bids, and mastering professional value driven presentation
- Management representative on selected customers
Key Responsibilities
Profitability & Growth
- Drive commercial performance, revenue growth, and profitability across the consulting organization.
- Develop and refine service offerings and delivery models that support both scalability and customer value.
Leadership & Team Empowerment
- Lead through your managers and team leads, building a strong and motivated leadership layer.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Act as a role model for Columbus’ values and leadership behaviors.
Customer Success & Engagement
- Ensure high-quality delivery and customer value across a diverse portfolio of national and international clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as an executive sponsor when needed.
- Ensure effective onboarding and maintain a strong focus on long-term customer success.
Operational Excellence
- Secure delivery operations through structured processes, KPIs, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Columbus’ PMO and Delivery Excellence teams to standardize and scale best practices.
- Ensure consistency, predictability, and transparency across all delivery activities.
Strategic Contribution
- Shape the strategic direction of the Dynamics 365 business line and contribute to Columbus Denmark’s broader agenda.
- Participate in global initiatives and share best practices and insights across countries.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you will bring 10+ years of leadership experience in consulting, ERP, or digital transformation - ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms. Furthermore, you bring:
- A proven track record in building and scaling professional services organizations.
- A strong commercial mindset and a focus on driving business growth.
- Experience leading large teams and managing through leaders, ideally across multiple locations.
- Confidence in engaging with enterprise clients and C-level stakeholders in both national and international settings.
- Strong execution skills, operational structure, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, challenge, and support your team.
- Fluent in both Danish and English.
