Join our vibrant and diverse international team, where your primary focus will be on motion design.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Motion Graphic Designer based in Aarhus, with some work from home flexibility. We're looking for a creative Motion Graphic Designer to make engaging videos and animations for our digital marketing. You'll be a key part of our team, creating visuals for social media, video ads, website animations, podcasts, and more.

You’ll work on a variety of projects, helping us improve our campaigns and implementing our brand-new visual identity. Working within Columbus’ marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to take the lead on a range of creative projects and we need someone ambitious and driven to push our creatives to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

· Videos and Animations: You'll create videos from existing images and video clips, adding animation, text, and special effects to make them engaging. This includes short summary videos of events or company updates.

· Designing Motion Graphics: You'll design animated graphics and videos for websites, social media, and other digital platforms. You'll also find clever ways to reuse existing campaign materials.

· Developing Ideas and Storyboards: You'll create initial concepts and visual storyboards for animation videos, ensuring they effectively communicate our messages and are aligned with our campaign goals.

· Video Editing: You'll edit and finalize video materials from freelancers and re-purpose older videos, adding new elements like sound, subtitles, while ensuring they’re exported in the correct formats.

· Engaging Audiences: You'll use visual storytelling to create videos that connect with our audience on social media and other platforms.

· Staying Up-to-Date: You'll stay current on industry trends and best practices in graphic and motion design to continuously improve techniques, software utilization, and platform usage.

Qualifications

· Software Skills: You’re skilled in video and animation software like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop. Experience with AI tools for video/image creation is a plus.

· Design Skills: You have a strong portfolio showcasing your design and storytelling abilities. You have fresh, creative ideas.

· Project Management: You can manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, and work independently.

· Teamwork: You communicate effectively and collaborate well with others.

· Industry Knowledge: Willingness to learn about the IT consultancy industry, including the competitive landscape and client sectors.

During peak periods, you will also support various design tasks, showcasing your versatility. A solid understanding of graphic design principles is crucial for success in this role. You will report directly to the Head of Design, collaborating closely to elevate our creative projects.
