As a Solution Consultant you will join a global team of 3 professionals and report directly to our Solution Director for M3, Mads Stenbye. At Columbus, we are scaling up to transform how we deliver solutions and win customer trust. As a Solution Consultant in our team, you will become an important team member in our pre-sale efforts, combining business acumen, and exceptional presentation skills to position Columbus as the trusted partner of choice for our clients.
Core Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with sales representatives and customers, contributing to the design and delivery of large, customized solutions. Your overall responsibility will be:
- Work closely with sales representatives to define opportunity-specific strategies and guide customers toward customized solutions
- Lead discovery meetings, pitch solutions, and participate in road mapping discussions to position Columbus as the customer’s trusted advisor
- Respond to RFx requests, scope solutions, craft messaging, and prepare impactful customer-facing presentations
- Take charge of opportunities alongside sales reps, coordinating with consultants and specialists to deliver cohesive and effective solutions
- Over time, develop a specialty in industries, products, or methodologies to provide specialized presales efforts and deliver compelling demos of the Infor M3 CloudSuites and other solutions
- Contribute to the development of services, participate in training initiatives, and enhanceways of working by updating templates, evaluating processes, and supporting organizational improvements
To succeed in the role, you bring a sharp business acumen, a strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset and collaboration skills, and a proactive and energetic personality.
Your background and experience
The successful candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master Degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Furthermore, this includes:
- Experienced from a similar commercial presale or Consultant role
- A Team player, and fast learning capabilities and adaptability
- Exceptional communication and presentations skills
- Commercial mindset and pre-sales knowledge
- Have a structured approach to tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Be willing to travel occasionally 20-30 days per year (primarily short trips)
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in one of the following languages preferred: Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish
