In the position you will
We offer an exciting, evolving and challenging role as a People Partner in our global organization that is navigating a journey of change. To deliver success to our external customers, globally and locally, we have introduced a matrix organization. In connection with this, we have a new People organization and several new roles have been launched, including People Partner. Entering this newly setup role, you will have the opportunity to influence the scope and responsibilities.
As a People Partner, you work with all aspects of the People/HR related matters for your business lines, connecting with your People colleagues across all Columbus locations. In your position, you will initiate and implement strategic changes, in line with the global approach and develop the organization in close cooperation with senior managers in your business area. Focussing on local implementations, you will collaborate closely with our HR Partner, Jeanette Knudsen. You will also participate in global people community projects. Travel within and outside Denmark may occur.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Develop and implement People Business Plan with the Business Line Leadership Team
- Support strategic talent management and succession planning
- Coach on leadership and skills development
- Analyse and follow-up of key performance indicators in People/HR
Requirements for the position
For the role of Business Line People Partner, we would like to see you have 8+ years of experience in broad HR/People work, preferably from an international environment. Experience from matrix organization and/or consulting companies is desirable. As a person, you are development-oriented and enjoy driving and developing the organization forward by thinking outside the box and questioning routines. Based on the journey of change that is being made, you also need to be change advocate and have the skills to support change.
Collaboration and the ability to build strong relationships and trust with your peers and leaders are critical skills to have. Your role will require a large part of self-leadership and the ability to dare to take your place to push for issues that make a difference, whilst ensuring your ideas and initiatives are in line with the One Columbus approach. As a People business, our team is in constant motion, we are therefore you should be keen to be at the forefront of these issues. English is the main business language at Columbus, so being fluent in English as well as local language is a requirement.
